This stopped me in my tracks and made me think twice about reaching out to someone who I shouldn't. I shouldn't, because of all the reasons you've so well articulated. Thank you 💗

I am smitten by this essay. It has all the ingredients to glue me to my screen until the end and to adhere to my thoughts well past the reading time.

The Untitled (Perfect Lovers), Simone Weil, Dali - the piece is peppered with nuggets of insights that give the work both cultural context and provide the argument with the sense of direction.

The writing stole my heart. It is not simply beautiful or witty for the sake of aesthetic, but constructed so that the words chosen serve as a perfect building material for the topic in question, like perfectly polished slabs of marble for the temple walls.

Thanks for sharing this with me! We'll always feel incomplete as long as we try to feel whole with love from someone who is finite...
